After the success of the Hyper 7 in the 1/8th off road sector, improving the breed was always going to be a challenge to our designers. Developing a buggy that was better yet different was the mandate, and what a result we had with the Hyper 8 Pro.

Its superb on-track handling, robustness and strength coupled with affordability have seen the Hyper 8 become a huge hit in many of the world's major markets. Equally at home in the hands of club or world class drivers such as Spanish Champion Robert Batlle, former World Champion Greg Degani, fellow American and World's Finalist Jeremy Kortz or Finnish Champion Joseph Quagraine the Hyper 8 Pro has set records and captured titles all over the World.

Inside Chassis
Side filling fuel tank keeps fuel spills away from radio and requires less effort to open lid. Carbon fibre radio tray is standard along with polished aluminium front and rear chassis braces.

Front Suspension
Turnbuckles are featured throughout. Specially moulded ball joints provide maximum lock without fouling the wheels, while angle steering plate provides clearance on even the maximum suspension movement.

Pipe Set
The Pro comes standard with HoBao´s new inline pipe set that features special strengthening around the outlet.

Servo Box Section
The Hyper 8´s steering servo is housed in a moulded box section that when mounted to the chassis and polished aluminium brace provides extreme stiffness and rigidity.

Front Knuckles
The Hyper 8 Pro comes standard with CNC aluminium steering blocks and hard anodized wheel hubs. Universal driveshafts are standard and the front hub carriers have adjustable castor inserts. No more e-clips as pins are secured with screws.

Differentials
Depending on the country and the surfaces raced raced on the Hyper 8 Pro is available with either Spider or regular diffs front, center and rear. The Spider six gear diffs are more robust than standard models and are ideally suited to the demands of high traction grass surfaces. Aluminium casing helps dissipate heat resulting in less internal oil viscosity change. Whereas the regular diff is four geared and more favoured in low traction areas, as well as being of a more lightweight design.
